Piper's PA-34 Seneca was first announced in 1971 and it has been in continual production since then. The original PA-34-200, which was based on the PA-32 Cherokee Six, had a pair of counter rotating 200 hp Lycoming IO-360 engines and was built from 1972 to 1974. It has a spacious six-seat interior, the later models having extra rear cabin windows.
